What we expect from our shoppers: 
  • The ability to read and follow detailed instructions
  • A commitment to completing all assignments within the specified time frames
  • Timely and accurate reporting: Reports are required within 12 hours
  • Honest, objective reporting
  • The ability to write in a clear and concise manner
  • Reporting of the facts, not opinions or perceptions from prior visits
  • Timely communication in the event an assignment can not be met
  • Confidentiality is key. We require each shopper to read, understand and agree to adhere to an Independent Contractor's Agreement.
  • Shopper’s must have PayPal for reimbursement
  • While on assignment, if ordering alcohol - you and any guests accompanying you are only permitted to consume a maximum of two alcoholic beverages each.  You are responsible for your own transportation and designated driver.

 Reflections Independent Contractor Agreement

This agreement will govern the relationship between you, the evaluator, herein referred to as Evaluator, and Reflections. 

We limit our evaluators to one per household.  Evaluators signing up with multiple email addresses, shoppers in same household or using the same paypal address will be deactivated.


Reflections personnel may be called upon to testify in court if client management uses an assessor’s findings for disciplinary or termination purposes. Your shopper's report could ultimately be used in a court of law as a LEGAL DOCUMENT in which case you may called upon to testify in court.
Reflections is engaged in the business of providing customer insight programs to its clients by means of mystery shopper reports on site. Said reports are for the purpose of determining operational issues including service, product presentation, facility maintenance, and other specifics of the clients operations and personnel. Evaluator agrees to the following terms and conditions in accepting assignments from Reflections. 
A.   RELATIONSHIP: Evaluator understands that they operate as an independent contractor. Evaluator is responsible for her/his own liability and workman's compensation and holds Reflections and its affiliates harmless while working as an independent contractor. There is NO employer - employee relationship. Any federal, state and other applicable taxes WILL NOT be withheld from payments or reimbursements distributed by Reflections. A 1099 will be issued to facilitate appropriate reporting of income received for services performed for fees paid exceeding $600 in any calendar year.

B.   ASSIGNMENTS: Assignments are scheduled on an as needed, rotating basis. Evaluator may choose to accept or reject any proposed assignment. Termination may occur due to reasons of cause or desire by evaluator or Reflections in determining that evaluator’s services are no longer needed.

C.   COMPENSATION: Reimbursement for allowable expenses will be distributed within 30 days considering assignments were properly completed and received according to guidelines. Adjustments in compensation may occur in the form of penalties as a result of late, incomplete, or inaccurate reports or if instructional guidelines are not met. It is mutually understood that upon termination or resignation from the position of evaluator that all Reflections materials will be returned upon demand. Any compensation due and payable to evaluator may be withheld until all said material is received.

D.   I, the EVALUATOR, hereby PROMISE  to: (1) Never disclose the names and/or locations of Reflections clients; (2) Keep confidential all findings regarding Reflections or our clients, either verbally or in writing. Reports are for the EXCLUSIVE use and knowledge of our clients and acknowledge that disclosure to third parties without Reflections' explicit and prior written consent may warrant possible legal action; (3) I agree to NEVER contact unit management or personnel regarding the assignment or results of said assignments; (4) Never to use any Reflections materials for purposes other than the mutually agreed-upon assignment. All forms & training material remain the exclusive property of Reflections and/or its clients; (5) For a term of one year after discontinuation of services to our firm, you agree NOT to enter into the service evaluation business, either directly or indirectly, excepting your activity of providing services to other established companies, as long as all above stated conditions are met.
